Since I began my career in advertising, I have understood that ideas are always crucial to making creative work. Then again, back then, my ideation was not that strong. I was learning every day. And I was also fortunate to have talented superiors to guide me every step of the way—from an initial thought to the eventual execution.
Over the years, I was trained to never settle for mediocre—I learned to keep pushing the envelope all the time. I faced many rejections, but I took them as motivation to try even harder. Like they say, what doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger. As time passed, I did everything to improve myself. I kept myself updated. Exposed myself to everything new and innovative. There are so many ways to find new ideas through different angles and insights.
When I joined Hakuhodo, I was fortunate to learn about Sei-katsu-sha Insight, a valuable philosophy that expresses insights about the holistic person, including lifestyle choices and human behavior. When I truly understand the people I am speaking to, I can develop better ideas that they can connect with. You can’t go wrong with real people and real life!
